cvir and CVIR oncology at ecio 2026

ECIO 2026 took place from April 26-April, 30, 2026 in Basel, Switzerland.  

CVIR and CVIR Oncology hosted three Instant Feedback sessions at the CVIR & CVIR Oncology booth.

Attendees had the opportunity to speak with CVIR Oncology's Editor-in-Chief, CVIR Oncology Editors, and CVIR Editors:

Participants discussed manuscript ideas and drafts, asked questions,  received clarifications and constructive, real-time feedback. This interactive session provided a valuable editorial perspective and practical advice to help improve future submissions to the CIRSE journals.

CVIR Oncology hosted the CVIR Oncology Editorial Board Reception, which was a true highlight of ECIO 2026. The ceremony featured the Editor-in-Chief - Thomas Helmberger, with an update on the journal's excellent year. The event concluded with food and drinks, offering a chance for the attendees to connect, network, and celebrate the achievement of the publishing community.

Throughout ECIO 2026, attendees of the congress had the opportunity to connect with the CVIR and CVIR Oncology editorial team.

This was a great opportunity to get questions answered directly by the editorial office staff: take a look at the journal’s editorial process, learn about submission guidelines and reviewer opportunities, and find out about funding for publications, as well as upcoming initiatives.
